We are pleased to invite you to the on-site study visit, ‘National Competence Centres’ Mutual Learning Event’, organised by the National Competence Centres Working Group (NCC WG) under the Community of Practice on Social Innovation (CoP on SI) and the Transnational Calls Team, which will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania, on 4-6 March 2025.

The aim of the event is to:

• Enhance the impact and added value of NCCs within the SI CoP by fostering synergies between their activities and promoting the exchange of knowledge, tools, experience, and best practices.

• Support the continuous development of professional competencies through collaborative efforts and quality improvement activities within the NCCs Working Group.

• Encourage active participation in events organised by the NCCs Working Group, facilitating mutual learning and the exchange of experiences in project implementation.

• Discuss the peculiarities of project management under the ESF+ SI+ initiative, with an emphasis on the importance of reporting and the management of project dissemination. The event will also serve as a platform to exchange experiences, share lessons learned, and highlight best practices in implementing transnational consortia projects.

The first face-to-face meeting in 2025 will focus on exploring and critically evaluating digital tools to enhance the work of NCCs. It aims to move beyond popular trends, understand the tools’ possibilities and limitations, and position NCCs as collaborative infrastructures for tackling complex social challenges.
