European Competence Centre for Social Innovation
The European Competence Centre for Social Innovation, part of the European Social Fund Plus Social Innovation+ initiative, aims to speed up the adoption and expansion of proven innovative solutions in employment, education, and social inclusion.
With the budget of €198 million allocated for the 2021-2027 programming period, the Centre fosters a more socially inclusive Europe by aligning with the principles of the European Pillar of Social Rights and facilitating fair, green, and digital transitions.

Transnational Calls
Promoting calls for social innovation grants
The Centre oversees the organization and management of EU-level calls for project proposals within the ESF SI+ initiative, focusing on facilitating the transfer and adoption of social innovation on a broader scale. Ensuring transparency and extensive publicity across all EU and EaSI countries, the Centre guarantees the availability of information to all stakeholders.
Knowledge Sharing
Promoting EU-wide knowledge sharing
Drawing upon expertise from across the EU, the Centre acts as a hub for communication and collaboration within the European social innovation community, organizing events, sharing news, good practices, providing guidance and support materials, and promoting collaboration among ESF+ managing authorities and stakeholders.

Governance
The Advisory Board, consisting of representatives from the European Commission, European Social Fund Agency (Entrusted Entity), ESF+ Managing Authorities, national social innovation authorities, and various networks or organizations supporting social innovation, operates in accordance with its rules of procedure to offer strategic guidance and recommendations.
The Board convenes for on-site and on-line meetings.
Regular updates are presented to the ESF+ Committee and Technical Working Groups.
